Rotary International supports and creates many projects at home and abroad. Rotarians focus on projects that contribute in practical ways to community development. Rotary projects in schools, clinics, and remote villages in many of the world’s poorest nations help ease the burdens of daily living with projects that focus on health care, nutrition, and education.
Rotary Clubs also identify significant projects in their own communities that will enrich the lives of their citizens. The Quinte Rotary Music Festival, Belleville, Ontario, Canada is just such a project. This year marks the 48th year of the Quinte Rotary Music Festival, the brainchild of Rotarians Ken Wormald & Linton Reed.
